Triskele Farm

Service as a way of life....

A life of simple physical work on the land and service to others form a basis for the day at the farm, whatever that may look like.  Serving others and the earth is a primary focus in our work.  Triskele is open freely to anyone sharing these values and willing to commit to the communities core principles.  We believe this time on Earth is so critical; our actions, motivations, conditioning and intentions must become very clear if we are to bring into manifestation the sort of changes so many of us share hope for.  The notion that the journey and the change begins within is rooted deeply in our hearts.  It gives us great joy to offer all courses and internships free of charge, including visits and community events.  We believe so strongly in the fertility of what we are doing that we wish anyone to be able to participate.  Through a lifestyle of humble service may we maximise our positive actions in the world, for as many people as possible with the most lasting effects!

Cutting edge Action Learning Opportunities

Picture
Students working towards their Diploma have ample opportunity to get involved with positive world change at Triskele.  Whether its a long term internship with creative freedom and structured mentoring, or research and development at the farm, Triskele offers yearly internships aimed at regenerative learners.

Richard has completed the 2 year Diploma, and offers focused mentoring to push students learning edges throughout their studies.  Diploma work also feeds gracefully into further academic studies at cutting edge institutions such as Gaia University, which we can help organise and facilitate.

Support for new projects

Picture
The Perennial Gene bank is part of the projects service work, helping establish other projects and promoting minimum disturbance low maintenance perennial agricultureThe Institute aims to create seeds and propagation stock to kit out 1 acre plots with high yielding yet diverse, functionally connective food/ medicine polycultures.

Through ongoing seed saving/ breeding work the Gene bank shall be an ever growing resource accessed through the gift economy to help develop and regenerate the use of old/ niche/ new species to meet our needs through perennial polycultures.  This work will draw from inspiring projects such as Plants for a Future and food forest research from around the world to make well designed "packages" that can be adapted and integrated site specifically to other projects with relative ease through consultation with the Institutes team.

The work shall also involve compiling data relevant to up/ downscaling stock rates for different sizes of land, to provide information directly applicable from allotments up to full farm designs.
