  1. I have known George over the internet for years. I will be in MI this Spring. It is very likely that we will be in Michigan long term, moving there from Brazil. I am very interested in learning about edible plants in our new environment. Due to the circumstances of our move I’m not sure if I will be able to attend this plant walk but I am very in learning from George. We will be in the Falmouth area, about 3.5 hours away. I was hoping to do a walk with him at his Clare location that is only about 45 minutes away from Falmouth.

  2. Hi Dave,

If you can’t come to the plant walk on May 4th, you might consider participating in the Great Lakes Traditional Arts Gathering, which is July 10-14, on Drummond Island. George will be offering several plant walks throughout the event. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn about traditional skills, crafts, and nature lore in a beautiful setting. More information is available at http://www.islandgathering.org. Hope you’ll make it May 4th! Best of luck with your move to MI from Brazil! –Kendra
